NTE 1.1 New Characters: Lacrimosa and Chaos
New S-Rank Character: Lacrimosa

Lacrimosa is a new S-Rank Chaos character coming in NTE Version 1.1. She uses a Liquid-compatible Arc and is one of the main highlights of the update.
Players can already try Lacrimosa in-game by progressing through the Lacrimosa Story Quest, giving an early look at her personality, combat style, and unique mechanics. Based on what was shown during the livestream, Lacrimosa appears to play as a damage-over-time character who applies stacking debuffs to enemies.
One of the most unique mechanics shown during the livestream is tied to her Esper Technique. Lacrimosa can copy enemy techniques, including attacks from bosses. It will be interesting to see how this mechanic works in actual gameplay, especially in high-level content where enemy abilities may have different effects.
Some of Lacrimosa’s special effects are unlocked through her Spin-Off Quests, so players who want to fully experience her kit and story will likely need to complete those quests as well.
Lacrimosa will also receive five outfits in Version 1.1. One of them, Yesterday’s Melody, changes her Ultimate animation.
New S-Rank Character: Chaos

Chaos is another new S-Rank character arriving in NTE Version 1.1. He is a Lakshana character with a Condensate-compatible Arc, and his kit appears to focus on follow-up damage.
Outside of combat, Chaos has a very useful open-world ability: he can place a teleport point in the world. This should make daily exploration, farming routes, and travel much more convenient, especially for players who regularly move between specific locations.
In combat, Chaos applies a debuff to enemies and builds stacks over time. Once the debuff reaches a certain point, it triggers a follow-up attack. Based on the livestream footage, Chaos looks like he may work as a main DPS, but his exact role will become clearer once more detailed kit information is available.
Chaos will also receive two skins in the Version 1.1 update.
New Map Zone: Sunward Island
Sunward Island was shown during the 1.1 livestream as a new island area coming in the June 3 update. The footage showed a coastal town, ferry routes, waterfront roads, and a few indoor spaces.
If you want the full segment, you can check the official livestream recording. Here are a few screenshots from the stream.

NTE 1.1 Porsche Collab
New information about the Porsche collab was revealed during the livestream. We will get a new car, outfit, and property. We also know that the car and outfit come from gacha. Because Fons can be used for pulls, even free-to-play players may still be able to get these rewards.

New car: Porsche 918 Spyder
The Porsche 918 Spyder is the new collab car. Based on the livestream, it can be acquired from gacha.

New collab outfit
The livestream also showed Porsche-themed outfits for the collab. They also appear to be gacha rewards.

New property: Pegasus Residence
Pegasus Residence was also shown during the livestream as a luxury property with a car lift, so players should be able to place cars inside the house. It should also come with new anomaly furniture. We do not know the price yet.

NTE 1.1 New Skins
The livestream also showed new skins for both Lacrimosa and Chaos. Lacrimosa had five skins shown during the segment, while Chaos had two.

NTE 1.1 New Tycoon
The livestream also showed two new Tycoon activities. One looked like a fighting club mode with dodge and parry-focused gameplay. The other looked more like a kart-style car activity, but players can also leave the vehicle. If all four characters are defeated, the run ends.
Fighter Club
This activity looked focused on close-range combat and timing your defense well. The full rules were not explained in detail on stream, but it looked like it could support both PvE and PvP.

New car activity
The second activity looked closer to a kart-style mode than a standard race. The stream also suggested that players can get out of the car during the match, and the team is eliminated if all four characters are down.

NTE 1.1 New Events, Bosses, and Anomaly
The livestream also showed new event screens, a new boss, and a new high-risk commission.

NTE 1.1 Optimizations
The livestream also showed a Version 1.1 optimization roadmap. Here are the two roadmap slides from the stream.

For me, the most important changes are:
- Add an option to mute Taygedo during story cutscenes (it was requested by many people).
- Add plot summaries when skipping cutscenes in the main story episodes or spinoffs (it is great for side missions without voice-over).
- Add new fast-travel points: The Witch’s House and Pink Paws Bank HQ (The Witch’s House definitely needed one).
- Add new mod parts for existing vehicles, raise the customization cap, and improve handling (very nice, because some cars are definitely missing visual upgrades).
- Tune starting stats on several vehicles for better baseline handling (this may make some cars viable to buy, not just Griffin for now).
- Add support for vehicle auto-drive (I do not think that I will use it, but it is still cool).
- Tune critical dodge detection to better match visual cues (this is definitely a needed upgrade).
- Improve skill queuing for groups of enemies (nice quality-of-life improvement).
- Chiz gains a new Life Skill that highlights all collectibles in Pink Paws Heist (this should make the mode much more pleasant to run).
- Improve controller experience and feel (as a controller user, I appreciate it).
- Improve mobile performance and fix compatibility issues on select Android devices (nice for mobile players).
- Fix misaligned musical notes and occasional unresponsive inputs in the Super Sound mini-game (this game mode was unplayable for me, so I hope they fixed it).
